RAWALPINDIFederal Investigation Agency (FIA) Tuesday obtained physical remand of a suspected terrorist in Mumbai attacks, for 14 days more from an Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi No 2 here on Tuesday. The ATC judge Sakhi Muhammad Kahot conducting the jail trial of the accused, awarded 14 days physical custody of the accused Shahid Jameel Riaz a resident of Bhawalpur after the investigators sought more time to complete the charge sheet against four other arrested accused. In their submission, the investigators stated that they would interrogate the suspect about his alleged abetment in the terrorist attacks in Mumbai last November and other accused were to be arrested at his information. A source close to the investigations informed that Shahid was an active and desperate member of proscribed organization Lashkar-e-Tayyaba (LeT) and was involved in planning the terrorist attacks. The suspect was arrested from Chakwal by the law enforcers on March 19. The court also extended the judicial remand of the four already arrested suspects Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, Abdul Wajid alias Zarar Shah, Mazhar Iqbal alias Abu al-Qama and Hammad Amin Saddiq.
