KARACHI - President PML-N Sindh Syed Ghaus Ali Shah has said that his party would accept the court judgment about the qualification of Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif whatever that be. Restoration of Punjab government is not based on necessity doctrine but the court has aborted an unnecessary decision, he said at a press conference at his house after presiding over a party meeting on Tuesday. Ghaus Ali Shah said Punjab governments restoration was success of Pakistan, its people and democracy. He added it was not defeat of any party. He added that Nawaz Sharif had sincerely and steadfastly struggled for independence of judiciary and backed lawyers movement that was why people from all the four provinces joined him in the long march. Ghaus Shah said his party believed in the politics of reconciliation and supported the governments efforts in this regard. Talks may be held with all parties including the MQM but fruitful dialogue depends upon the sincerity of the parties who want to hold talks with the PML-N, he said. To a question about the future political role of former President Musharraf, the PML-N leader said that any comment on this issue would be premature because he (Musharraf) was legally bound to wait for 2 years before entering the politics. He further said that should the PPP want to continue the politics of reconciliation, it must have to review the role of Governor Punjab. He added the change of administration was also one of the reasons that terrorists let loose a reign of terror in Punjab. Ghaus Ali Shah announced that Nawaz Sharif would soon visit Sindh and hold meetings with the party officials and supporters. He added that reorganisation of the PML-N would be completed within 6 to 8 weeks. Meanwhile, PML-N Sindh on Tuesday celebrated the restoration of its government in Punjab and jubilant party workers distributed sweets. Large number of lawyers belonging to PML-N led by Nehal Hashmi Advocate and others distributed sweets in the Karachi Bar and also visited Karachi Press to rejoice the restoration of Mian Shahbaz Sharifs government. They said that with the end of Governors rule and the restoration of Mian Shahbaz Sharif government ended the political crisis in Punjab. Sindh PML-N women wing, under the leadership of its general secretary Ms. Perveen, also celebrated the restoration of Mian Shahbaz Sharif government in Punjab. Scores of women activists reached the Karachi Press Club and distributed sweets. They also visited the residence of Syed Ghaus Ali to express their solidarity with the party. Meanwhile, central president Tehreek-e-Istiqlal, Rehmat Khan Wardag, has hailed the Supreme Court decision to restore Shahbaz Sharif as Punjab Chief Minister. He urged both main political parties to continue the process of reconciliation.
