Thieves take away gold, cash from Christian’s house

MARDAN - Unidentified thieves have looted 25 tola gold ornaments, 1.7 million rupees cash and other valuables from the house of a member of Christian community in the limits of City Police Station.
Indriyas, resident of Madina Colony Janabad, reported to police that he along with his family went to Chatral when unidentified thieves broke lock of his house and took away 25 tola gold ornaments, 1.7 million rupees cash, 1.2 million rupees prize bonds and other valuables.
Meanwhile, Chura police registered a case against four people for allegedly supporting militants, sources said.
 They said that Chura police registered a case against four people identified as Mohammad Akbar, Mushtaq, Mohammad and Wattan Sher, resident of Daggar Gujjart, for allegedly supporting, providing shelter and financial aid to suspected militants Farooq Alam, resident of Kashmirabad Gujrat and Sartaj Khan, resident of Daggar Gujjart.
The above-mentioned militants were involved in different incidents of terrorism and wanted by local police. Police registered a case against them under section 216 of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
