According to Tolo News, At least 12 Daesh militants were killed and eight others were wounded in two airstrikes in Nangarhar province, local officials said Saturday.

One of the airstrikes targeted the Daesh militants’ hideout in Wazir Tangi area in Khogyani district where four insurgents were killed and eight others were wounded, said Attaullah Khogyani, spokesman for Nangarhar governor.

Khogyani said eight Daesh fighters were killed a separate airstrike by foreign forces in Achin district in the province.

He did not provide more details in this respect.
