MIRPUR (AJK)-Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) was celebrated on Friday across Azad Jammu & Kashmir with religious zeal and fervour.
The auspicious day dawned with special prayers at in the mosques throughout AJK. The Muslims prayed for unity, solidarity, progress and welfare of the Muslim world, security and stability of Pakistan and Kashmir and for the liberation all the occupied Muslim homelands including the occupied part of the Jammu Kashmir from Indian subjugation. Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) processions were taken out and ‘Mahaafil-e-Milad’ held in all small and major towns and cities across Azad Jammu Kashmir including the capital city of Muzaffarabad, Mirpur, Kotli, Bagh, Bhimbher, Palandri, Rawalakot and Neelam and Jhelum valley to celebrate the auspicious day. Major ceremonies to celebrate the day with religious devotion and respect were held in all small and major towns, cities and villages across the liberated territory.
Ulema and religious scholars paid glorious tributes to the last prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) for his great and remarkable services for giving the right direction to the humanity. They renewed the pledge to strictly act upon the orders of Allah Almighty and the sayings of the Holy Prophet. The speakers paid glorious tributes to the Holy Prophet throwing light on his sacred life.
