KARACHI: Young Nurses Association (YNA), Sindh, on Saturday, expressed concern over delay in the approval of service structure summary of nurses by the Sindh government.
An emergency meeting of the association was held here, which was chaired by General Secretary YNA Sindh, Haji Abdul Wahid. The divisional office-bearers of YNA Sindh also attended the meeting.
Abdul Wahid said secretary health Sindh had been using delaying tactics in approval of four-tier formula for nurses. He informed that health department Sindh had constituted a committee to review problems being faced by nurses regarding promotions and allowances. He said that the committee members had recommended service structure for nurses under the four-tier formula, but no progress could be made in this regard so far despite the passage of three months.
He further said uncertainty was prevailing in nurses due to delay in the approval of summary.
