Ring Road’s repair work starts

MIRPURKHAS - Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senator Seth Hari Ram Kishori Lal on Saturday the announced the start of repair work on three-and-a-half-kilometer long Ring Road, which would cost Rs75 million.

Speaking on the occasion, the PPP senator said that his party was serving the masses without any discrimination, and added that PPP’s elected representatives were launching new development schemes to make Mirpurkhas a modern city as per directives of Asif Ali Zardari.

He further said that work on city’s drainage system was continuing at a fast pace. “The rainwater will not be accumulated on the roads and streets after its completion,” Kishori Lal said, and hoped that hence a longstanding demand of people of the city would be fulfilled. Accepting local traders’ demand, he, on the occasion, announced the installation of solar streetlights on the Ring Road.

The senator advised traders to get united on one platform so that they could convey their problems to the authorities in a far more effective manner. Anjuman-e-Tajiran Ring Road President Abdul Jabbar and others thanked the senator for starting repair of the Ring Road and announcing installation of solar streetlights on it.
