PESHAWAR: A commander of the outlawed Tehrik-e-Taliiban Pakistan was arrested by law enforcement agencies in Buner .

Mir Mahmood was arrested on a tip-off by the police officials. He has been shifted to an undisclosed location for futher interrogation. Police have recovered a G3 gun, three suicide vests, bomb device and a large quantity of ammunition and weapons.

The suspect was reportedly planning some attack on Eid-ul-Fitr, and was wanted in several cases. DPO Khalid Afzal said that more than eighteen cases have been lodged against the suspect, which includes attacks on law enforcement officials and bomb attacks.
