AHMEDPUR EAST - Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif approved Rs250 million for the uplift of PP-269 constituency, said PML-N MPA Malik Khalid Mehmood Warran.

Talking to media here, he claimed the chief minister, on his request, had ordered the authorities concerned for the release of funds without any delay. “I apprised the chief minister of problems being faced by people of my constituency and also thanked him for approving funds for uplift of the area,” he said. He claimed the PML-N, with the public assistance, would clinch the next general election.

AWARD CONFERRED

Dr Aurangzeb Malik, Medical Superintendent of Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, received Sehat Khidmat Award from Punjab Governor Rafique Rajwana in a ceremony held here the other day. The award was conferred on him in recognition of his health services. Doctors and paramedical staff of the THQ hospital congratulated the MS for the honour. It is pertinent to mention that Punjab Primary Healthcare Department has released a grant of more than two hundred million rupees for renovation of the THQ hospital.
