PESHAWAR A cleric of the historic Mohabat Khan Mosque Maulana Mohammad Yousaf Qureshi, Friday, while demanding of the government to execute Aasia Bibi, a convict in blasphemy case, announced Rs0.5 million (Rs 500,000) reward money for the person who would kill her. He made this announcement while addressing protest demonstration staged by Jamaat-e-Islami and JUI in connection with amendment in blasphemy act here on Friday. He said that the administration of Masjid Mohabat Khan was ready to award Rs0.5 million to any person either he belonged to Taliban or any other group for killing that woman. He said that there were a large number of people who would not regret to give any sacrifice for that cause. Activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam staged separate protest rallies against the proposed amendment in Blasphemy Law. Leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Shabbir Ahmad Khan led the protest rally. Holding banners and placards the infuriated protesters chanted full-throated slogans against the government. They said that religious political parties would not allow any one to amend the blasphemy law in case the law was amended the workers of Jamaat-e-Islami were ready to launch movement against it. Meanwhile, JI leader Senator professor Ibrahim Khan said that if the blasphemy law was amended it would have serious repercussion for the government. He said that the corrupt rulers through the instigation of United State were amending the basic laws of blasphemy. He said that activist of Jamaat were ready to sacrifice every thing in the honour of the Holy Prophet (SAW).
