Abdul Qadirs appointment hailed

OUR STAFF REPORTER ISLAMABAD - Rawalpindi Cricket Association's opposition group Friends has congratulated Abdul Qadir, the former Test player and ex-chief selector of Pakistan Cricket Board over his appointment as Chief Coordinator Club Cricket by PCB. Talking to this scribe, Masood Anwar, the former international cricketer and ex-president RDCA said he hoped that Abdul Qadir knew each and every expect of the game, as he has a very vast experience. He said in these circumstances Abdul Qadir was the best choice for the betterment of the club cricket in the country. He said with an active work and coordination, Qadir could help PCB find natural talent and provide it to the country. He hoped Qadir would play an active role against the rude attitude of some associations that victimise clubs, which did not follow their personal agendas. Sanober Gul, Ustad Saleem, Raja Afaq, Raja Ghulam Abbas, Raja Sarfraz and Ustad Aziz, who have spent their whole life in serving cricket and produced several players at national and international level, also welcomed Abdul Qadir's appointment.
