KABUL (NNI) Some of the Afghan fresh fruit exporters are concerned about a decrease in Afghan fruit exports. According to an Afghan based Newspaper, these exporters asked the government to explore other ways, beside Pakistan, to export their fresh fruits to other countries. The exporters said the Afghan government should talk with Pakistan government to facilitate the ways of exports, and if Pakistan does not cooperate, Afghanistan should behave similarly with Pakistani merchants. An exporter said: If we focus only on Pakistan, obviously, our fruits will get spoiled. Meanwhile, Afghan Ministry of Commerce and Industries said that they have signed an agreement with Pakistani officials in which fruit exporters can export their fruit packages from several ports of Pakistan. Afghanistan and Pakistan have signed an agreement based on which Afghanistan can export in several ports like Karachi port and others, Wahidullah Ghazi Khail, a spokesman for Afghan Ministry of Commerce and Industries said.
