OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE PPP MPA Faiza Malik on Sunday termed the PML-Ns move to form a grand alliance a grand munaafqat (hypocrisy) and asked its leadership to follow the Charter of Democracy instead of conspiring against the Federal government. Talking to a delegation of woman workers at the partys local office, the PPP legislator, who is also Lahore Womens Wing president, said the people had given a five-year mandate to the government and it will complete its constitutional term. She accused the PML-N leadership of violating the CoD by announcing intentions to form the alliance against the Federal government. She said it had been clearly written in that document that none of the two parties would try to bring down the sitting government. Describing the PML-Ns alliance efforts a grand munaafqat, Faiza said that Nawaz Sharifs party will not succeed in its plans to dislodge the Federal government. Now as the people of Kashmir have rejected the politics of the PML-N, it was better they ('N) should accept their defeat and wait for the next general election, she maintained. Faiza said her party was doing politics of reconciliation for the sake of strengthening the country and its institutions. But some people have taken it as our weakness, she complained. MPA Faiza also warned the PML-N, saying the PPP had the gusts to pay back in the same coin if the tirade launched against its leadership was not stopped.
