LAHORE A woman, victimised by two lawyers, has appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Punjab Chief Minister and Supreme Court Bar Association President to take notice of the issue and provide her justice. According to a press release, Farhana Faisal said that after doing shopping from a local shopping mall along with her husband Faisal Nazeer and children, she was reversing her car when it accidentally collided with another vehicle, owned by two lawyers. Lawyers demanded Rs 20,000 for its repairing and on her refusal they started to thrash her and her family. Scores of the people reached the spot and rescued us but later the lawyers Aurang Zeb and Deputy Prosecutor Rao Atif, threatened me of dire consequences if I refused to pay them. Days after the incident, the advocates got registered an FIR with Liberty Police Station against four people including her father Basharat Javed, Faisal Nazeer, nephews Farukh Majeed and her son. After receiving Rs 0.1 million, advocates gave statement in my favour but now they are again demanding more money besides harassing me by using various tactics, she added. The woman has appealed to the authorities concerned to intervene and provide her justice.
