LAHORE - Ten people were killed in road accidents because of poor visibility in different areas of Punjab on Friday morning as fog/smog blanketed the province.

Three children were killed and several others hurt when a speeding truck rammed into a rickshaw near Chowk Azam.

On Sheikhpura Road, a passenger van collided with a bus, killing five people and injuring several others.  A car accident left five people wounded in Shujabad whereas a truck overtuned on Khanewal –Multan Road due to poor visibility in foggy condition.  Two persons were killed when a dumper turned turtle in Attock  According to Met Office, fog/smog is likely to persist over Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Gujranwala and Sahiwal divisions during night and morning hours.
