Taliban free remaining students

PESHAWAR - Due to hectic efforts of tribal jirga at Makeen village, the abductors Thursday handed over 42 kidnapped students and two teachers of Razmak Cadet College. Sources said that Political Agent North Waziristan Mutahir Zeb constituted five members jirga for the safe recovery of the students. The jirga after long negotiations forced the abductors to release the students unconditionally. The tribal jirga constituted by the Political Agent was represented by Sher Daraz Mamid Khail, Malik Sher Rahman Mandi Khail, Malik Mohammad Roman Khushhal Tori Khail, Malik Massawood Khan and Malik Naik Mohammad while from the abductors side was represented by Amir Mohammad and Malik Ikramuddin. After concluding the jirga, the abductors handed over the students to tribal elders who later shifted them to Razmak area where Major Shehzad of Shawal Rifles received them. Later, they were shifted to Bannu through helicopters where they were received by their parents.
