Wanted no more

I am one of the 2200 teaching assistants that were appointed by the Punjab government. I along with my other colleagues have been working for as low as 8,000 per month but still performing our duties whole-heartedly in the belief that we shall soon be made permanent. But now we are suddenly being relieved from our posts instead of making us permanent. I request to related authorities to take notice and reinstate us in our jobs. -USMAN QADIR, Jhang, via e-mail, May 3.
