KARACHI - A two-day training on “Role of police in protection of children on the move” for newly recruited police officials, mostly assistant sub-inspectors (ASIs) concluded here on Friday at Saeedabad Police Training centre.

The event aimed at sensitising police officials about the treatment with child-sensitive issues , said a statement.

The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Faizullah Korejo speaking on the occasion said that Sindh police was making every effort to play its role by sensitising the officials, who have to deal with such children in different situations.

SSP Faizullah Korejo, SSP ShadIbn-e-Masih, human rights activist Iqbal Detho, Chief Executive Officer DevCon, Nisar Ahmed Nizamani and Country director Tere Des Home and Salam Dharejo facilitated the training sessions.

SSP Faizullah explained in detail to participants about protection framework to deal with juvenile and children with legal aspects.
