KARACHI - At least 10 people were hospitalized after eating poisonous sweets in Shadman Town area of Malir, Karachi. The affected persons were rushed to a private clinic near Kala Board area of Malir for medical treatment from where they were referred to Jinnah Hospital.

The Jinnah Hospital sources said that condition of seven persons, including two women, is stated to be critical while three were released from the hospital after first aid.

Police have started the investigation of the incident.
