Lahore - Double delight for Rashid Malik, who won both 45 and 50 doubles titles and remained unbeaten in the 3rd Maple leaf Cement ITF seniors World Ranking Tennis Tournament.

In 45 plus doubles final, Rashid Ahmed Malik and M Arif outlasted Israr Gul Khan and Irfanullah Khan 6-1, 6-4 while in 50 plus doubles final, Rashid partnering with Rai Zahid outclassed Nauman Aleem and Qauam Ali 6-0, 6-2.

In 35 plus doubles final, Talha Waheed and M Shakeel defeated Israr Gul and M Arif 7-5, 6-3 to clinch the title while Nauman Aleem routed M Pervaiz 6-1, 6-3 to lift the 55 plus singles title. In 60 plus singles first semifinal, Asad Niaz thumped Nisar Waqar 6-0, 6-4 while Zahid Rai edged out Gul Hameed Khan 6-0, 7-6 in the second semifinal.

In 65 plus singles final, Ch Mushtaq Ahmed beat Shahid Mehmood 6-2, 6-3 to win the title while 65 Plus doubles title went to Ch Mushtaq Ahmad and Laiq Ahmad Pirzada who outpaced Shahid Mehmood and Naveed Najam 6-3, 6-3.

Today (Saturday), the finals of remaining age groups will be played while Director General Sports Punjab Zulfiqar Ahmad Ghumman and Maple Leaf CEO Syed Saeed will be chief guests.
