Religious parties join hands for election

NOORPUR THAL-The religious organizations representing Barelvi school of thought have decided to contest next election from a united platform.
The decision to form a political alliance was made during a meeting at Jamia Shamsul Quran here the other day. Renowned religious scholar Allama Sher Muhammad Sialvi presided over the meeting. The religious leaders who attended the meeting included: Tehreek Labaik Ya Rasool Allah (SAWW) Sargodha division president Amer Aslam Sahi, Jamaat Ahle Sunnat Khushab district president Allama Dildar Ahmed Rizvi, Dawate Fikar Bhakkar district nazim Sahibzada Masroorul Hassan, Sunni Tehreek Noorpur Thal city president Qari Asadullah Khan Niazi, Pir Sahibzada Mehboobul Haq from Astana-e-alia Bundial Sharif, Maulana Habibur Rehman Sultani, Jamaat Ahle Sunnat local leader Haji Sheikh Abdul Majeed and others attended the meeting.
The participants agreed to develop a manifesto for the alliance in next meeting.
It was also decided to form a united Sunni Ulema Board to guide people on different religious matters. The participants also decided to develop contacts with custodians of every shrine in Noorpur Thal and invite them to be part of the alliance.
