Islamabad - Islamabad police have arrested 11 outlaws including five car thieves and recovered stolen cars, 10 bottles of wine and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said on Friday.
According to details, Margallah police arrested a car thief identified as Waheed and recovered a car (ZH-693) from him. Anti-car lifting cell of Islamabad police nabbed Sikandar Hayat, besides recovering stolen Corolla car (AVN-775) from him, while three other car thieves Khalid, Raj Wali and Zeeshan were also nabbed. Meanwhile, Shehzad Town police arrested six persons, besides recovering three pistols, 43 rounds and 10 bottles of wine from them.
Three professional alms-seekers were also nabbed during campaign to curb begging practices in the city. Separate cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is under way.
