LAHORE  - A 25-year-old female schoolteacher was crushed to death under a train in Badami Bagh area, police sources said on Friday.
The woman, identified as Razia Butt, was crossing the railway lines near Lohaywali Pulli when a Lahore-bound train hit her, resulting in her on-the-spot death. Police sources said that Razia was a teacher at a private school and the accident took place when she was returning home by foot. First, the police moved the body to the morgue but later handed it over to the family after the identification was ascertained. The deceased was later buried at a local graveyard amid tears and screaming.
