DUBAI - The 2014 World Tenpin Bowling Association (WTBA) Men's World Championships will officially start today (Saturday) with singles matches. Pakistani players along with other leading contenders will flex their muscles on the last day before the competitive action begins. All the players practiced at the venue, while Pakistani team spent almost 90 minutes in practice on Friday. Talking to The Nation, Ijazur Rehman said: “We had a very good practice session and I am quite satisfied with the players’ progress. The 40-lane Khalifa International Bowling Centre in Zayed Sports City, Abu Dhabi, is one of the best centres we had played around the world. Sultan Durrani and Omer Khalid will play the first round singles, while M Hussain Chattha and I will play the second session.
