LAHORE - Punjab University has awarded PhD degrees to Abdul Jabbar son of Mahmoodul Malik in the subject of Islamic Studies after approval of his research thesis entitled Qarn-e-Awal Ka Usloob-e-Ijtihad Aur Asr-e-Hazir. Afifa Khanum in the subject of Education after approval of her research thesis entitled Effect of Religious Education on the Moral Development of Children Mohsin Shahzad in the subject of Molecular Biology after approval of his thesis entitled Capturing the Genetic Components of Auditory Sensory Epithelium and Muhammad Yaseen in the subject of Chemistry after approval of his thesis entitled Synthesis and Electrochemical Studies of Conjugately Linked Multiporphyrins and their Metal Complexes. They have completed their theses under the supervision of Dr Muhammad Saad Siddiqui of PU Department of Islamic Studies, Prof Dr Muhammad Zafar Iqbal former Director PU Institute of Education & Research, Prof Dr Shaheen N Khan of PU National Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology and Prof Dr Mrs Irshad Khokhar of PU Institute of Chemistry, respectively.
