The topic of the conference was ‘Unity of Ummah in the light of teachings of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). Speakers of the inaugural session laid stress on following the teachings of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).
They also pointed out that a true love with Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) can only be demonstrated by following Sunnah.
In his written message, NPT Chairman Muhammad Rafiq Tarar stressed the need for shunning differences and forging unity among the Ummah to cope with challenges.
He said the objective of the creation of Pakistan was to provide a laboratory of Islam where golden principles of Islam can be implemented.
He said, “We are thankful to Allah Almighty that He has made us the Ummah of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).”
He further said that for forging unity, it was essential to seek guidance from the holy life of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).
He said, the last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) gives the message of respect, love and unity. Other speakers also highlighted different aspects of the holy life of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).
NPT Vice Chairman Professor Dr Rafiq Ahmed said the solution to all problems is following the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Justice (r) Khalilur Rehman Khan, Sahibzada Mian Waleed Ahmed Sharqpuri, Dr Tahir Raza Bukhari, Justice (r) Mian Nazeer Akhtar, Allama Muhammad Mansha Tabish Kasuri, Barrister Syed Waseemul Hassan Naqvi and Shahid Rasheed also spoke on the occasion.
