LAHORE-Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khan Khosa has asked all universities across the province to extend 50 percent fee concession to the special students. During a meeting with a delegation of special children at the Governors House here Wednesday, he directed immediate implementation of the 50 percent concession in fee, adding that all universities must ensure best educational facilities to the special students. Khosa said optimum technical education opportunities should be provided to the special children with aptitude for special education. He said that provision of best opportunities to the special students was the responsibility of the government so that they could lead a normal life. Punjab Governor also ordered to award a three-wheeled motorcycle from the Pakistan Baitul Maal to a handicapped weight-lifter who had represented Pakistan internationally. Former provincial minister for labour Muhammad Ashraf Sohna was also present during the meeting and announced to support five special children from his pocket every year.
