Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that Feb 10 would be historical day for the people of Lahore when Metro Bus Service would be inaugurated and the project would itself be a befitting response to the critics.
He stated this while chairing a high level meeting held in Model Town here in Lahore on Friday to review the inauguration arrangements of Metro Bus Service Project.
Shahbaz Sharif said that Metro Bus Project is a landmark achievement of the Punjab government and a symbol of long term friendship between Pakistan and Turkey.
He also expressed special thanks to Mayer of Istanbul for cooperation in completion of the project.
The Chief Minister said that high level delegation of the Turkish government would also attend the inauguration of the Metro Bus Project.
He claimed that it was first time in history of country that a mega project has been completed which was directly in the interest of common man.
Shahbaz Sharif said that Metro Bus Project was accomplished as a missionary venture and the citizens also cooperated a lot in this regard.
