ISLAMABAD- Thirty-five officers belonging to various occupational groups and organisations on Friday completed the 15th mid-career management course.

Additional Secretary Establishment Division Raja Hasan Abbas, Director General National Institute of Management Brig (Retd) Amanullah and Chief Instructor Tariq Mehmood Nadeem distributed certificates among the participants of the course, in a graduation ceremony held at the National Institute of Management here.

The officers who completed their mandatory training for next promotion to grade-19 included among others Maryam Gilani, Ambreen Fatima Malik, Reema Masood, Sumayya Babar Khan, Quaim-ul-Islam Afridi, Sarfraz Hussain, Sajid Zafar Dall, Mohammad Jahanzeb, Humayun Feroz, Khawaja Mohammad Imran, Aftab Hasan Khan, Aftab Rashid, Asghar Ali, Awais Ayub, Fazal-e-Samad, Jawaid Ahmed, Khalid Memon, Manzoor Ahmed, Masab Babar, Modasar Ch, Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Shahid Dayo, Moin-ud-Din Wani, Nadeem Ahmed, Nadir Chattha, Nasir Saeed Warraich, Noman Akram, Shafqat Mehmood, Shah Faisal, Shoaib Sarwar, Sirajuddin Amjad, Ziaullah Shams, Ayesha Wani, Uzma Munir, and Rana Nusrat Abbas.

Speaking on the occasion, Additional Secretary Raja Hasan Abbas while congratulating the graduating officers emphasised upon them to develop a dispassionate understanding of socio-economic, political and cultural dynamics of the country. He said such effort would help them fully understand the reasons for the successes and failures of the past policies and also to prepare themselves for better, efficient and effective public service delivery.

He stressed the need for making sincere and devoted efforts for the socio-economic development of the country and for the uplift of the people ofPakistan.

He urged the participants to demonstrate highest degree of honesty, integrity, justice and fair play in discharge of their duties and to serve the nation as true civil servants.

Director General NIM Brig (Retd) Amanullah in his farewell address to the participants said such courses were aimed at progressive personality development and bringing about attitudinal change among those who are mandated to serve the country and the nation. He said the course provides a platform to the participating officers to assume higher responsibilities with greater sense of responsibility.

He called upon the graduating officers to employ all the skills and knowledge gained from the course into the service of the people for better service delivery.
