ISLAMABAD- A total of 40 matches were decided in the men’s singles and U-18 singles qualifying events on the opening day of the 28th Federal Cup National Ranking Tennis Championships at Senator Dilawar Abbas PTF Tennis Complex,Garden Avenueon Friday. Asad Eitaza, M Muzammil, Shahzad advanced to the men’s singles main draw by winning the final round of the qualifying event while Elham Khan, Rizwan Akram and Moiz Tariq also advanced to the main draw of boy’s U-18 singles event. Islamabad Tennis Association secretary Suhail Ittehad inaugurated the opening ceremony. In men’s singles qualifying first round, Bakhtair, Asad, Shahzad, Jibranullah, Hassan and others won their matches.
