KARACHI : Metropolitan Steel Corporation shifted to normal counter from the defaulter segment and its shares trading has been allowed. According to the KSE notice, MSC was placed in the defaulters segment and trading in its shares was suspended under listing regulation. Firm failed to hold the AGM for two years for the year ended June 30, 2011 and June 30, 2012. Since the company has already held the AGM for the year ended June 30, 2011 and notice of AGM for the year ended June 30, 2012 has been published in the newspapers and notified by the Exchange wide notice.

The name of the company will be shifted from the defaulter segment to normal counter of the Exchange and simultaneously trading in its shares will also be resumed with effect from Monday, June 10, 2013.
