A crackdown has been started against decanting Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) into cylinders. Though it is a good step it must have been taken long ago with proper execution, ensuring safety of the citizens. Now, the issue is that the authorities should also observe the concerns of domestic LPG consumers as a large number of these consumers are bearing a lot. Ironically, they are deprived of the facility of Natural Gas and already bearing the burden by paying high price for LPG (it is too high as well as fluctuating compared to Natural Gas). The authorities concerned should also take appropriate steps; either by providing alternatives or at least exempting the domestic LPG consumers from this abrupt and unforeseen emergency steps.
