LAHORE - All the children with unknown paternity can neither appear in matriculation examination nor get their national ID cards or passports as Nadra has blocked their B-Forms, a private TV channel reported Thursday.
Such children are housed in SOS Village or being looked after by Edhi Foundation.
The channel interviewed a number of children living in SOS Village who said it was regrettable that first they had been denied an identity by their parents who abandoned them and now the same treatment has been meted out by Nadra. Taking notice of the report, Interior Minister Ch Nisar Ali has directed the concerned authorities to sort out the matter.
