ATTOCK - Court yesterday stayed execution a prisoner who was scheduled to be sent to gallows in the District Jail Attock on Feb 8.
As per details, a death row prisoner Muhammad Salman son of Muhammad Zaman, resident of Rawalpindi had shot dead a jeweller Fazal Mehmood on 2/08/2001 during a dacoity attempt.
He was awarded death sentence and had been on death row for the last one decade.
At the eleventh hour, the relatives of the murdered jeweller pardoned him and in return the court stayed his execution.
However he will be tried in dacoity case.
