The Saddr Police have raided a mini-fireworks factory and its warehouse in Faisal Town here and seized about 50-kg explosive material and a huge quantity of fireworks. The police have registered a case against five persons and arrested three persons.
On a tip-off, the Saddr Police SHO raided a mini- fireworks factory where the owner was manufacturing fireworks in violation of law. The police arrested Zawar Muhammad Ali, Usman and Mansha while two other accused managed to flee.
It is pertinent to mention here that the factory is functioning in the Faisal town for the past over a decade and it is situated about 100 yards away from the DPO office.
