GUJRANWALA - The GCCI office-bearers lauded the government decision regarding dialogue with Taliban.
In a statement issued here, they said that terrorism had badly hit Pakistan’s economy, foreign direct investment, tourisms industry and other business activities. They said that foreign buyers were not ready to visit Pakistan.
They condemned the attack on a court and killing of the additional Sessions judge and 10 others in Islamabad, describing it as horrible act of terrorists.
They said that the prime minister had effectively removed misconceptions about the current government and strengthened the public-private sector liaison by taking the business community into confidence.
They said that business community wanted peace in the country by any means, adding that all options must be considered to restore peace in the country.
