Rawalpindi: It has been revealed that two persons, who are said to be brothers, obtained medicines worth Rs 3.5 million from medical stores using fake letter pad of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and doctors’ stamps.

A PIA inquiry committee headed by DM Security Arif Nadeem conducted probe into the fraud incident. A CCTV footage showed that two persons, including Abdul Hafeez, resident of Gawalmandi are behind the fraud.

Both the accused are said to be brothers. Accused Abdul Hafeez is an employee of a private medicine company. Sources said, both the accused have confessed their involvement in the fraud and will be handed over to investigation agency for further probe.
