Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Makhdoom Javed Hashmi has said that the government has enforced mini budget by increasing the prices of electricity, petroleum products and ratio of GST on daily-use items.
Talking to the journalists here on Tuesday, he added that the cruel mini-budget would leave highly negative impacts on the masses and a horrible storm of price hike would take place in the country. He regretted that the poor people were already crushed because of anti-public policies of the previous government while the incumbent government also launched a series of coercive and masses-enemy actions. “Instead of offering any relief to the people, the rulers are following in the footsteps of their predecessors,” he added.
He suggested to the government to refrain from imposing mini-budgets on the masses and make efforts to offer relief to people. “Otherwise an unending protest will begin across the country which will continue till elimination of this regime,” he warned.
