LAHORE – Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Liaquat Baloch has said that if President Zardari has any fear of Allah he should bring his ill-gotten wealth back to the country for the welfare of the masses.
Speaking at a sit- in staged against loadshedding, price hike, and corruption in Township on Monday, he said that the load shedding had disturbed the lives of millions and stopped the wheel of industry. Millions of workers had lost their jobs and had no means of earning.
Baloch said that 170 corruption cases were pending against President Zardari. Similarly, dozens of cases against PML -N leader Nawaz Sharif were also pending.
Due to this, he said, the public confidence in the Supreme Court had been shaken.
The apex court had taken up different important cases but the judgments had not been given.
