KARACHI:  Two officers of American consulate today met Abdul Sattar Edhi in Karachi and inquired about his health.

The two officers named Patrick and Christopher visited Edhi center Mithadar head office. They met Edhi and appreciated his social services.

While talking to media on the occasion, Faisal Edhi said that whenever new officers are appointed in American consulate, they do visit Edhi centre and pay tribute to Abdul Sattar Edhi.

He further said that Pakistanis living in United States bring their young daughters to Pakistan and force them into marriage. He said that American diplomats intervene in such issues, whereas Edhi center gives shelter to such girls and makes effort to send them back to US.
