Punjab Finance Minister Mujtaba Shujaa-ur-Rehman has ruled out the impression that the Punjab government has presented an imbalanced budget. He was addressing a post budget press conference in Lahore on Sunday. He said welfare schemes have been introduced for women‚ youth and poor segments of society. The provincial finance minister said a record amount of 250 billion rupees has been allocated to annual development programme. About south Punjab he said that 80 billion rupees have been earmarked which is 32 percent of the total development budget.
