LAHORE - Punjab Junior Sports Association will hold Punjab Junior Games in five major cities including Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranawala, Multan and Sargodha, said a press release issued yesterday. To encourage the young athletes, adjacent districts of all the major cities will also be included through affiliated District Junior Sports Associations. The Games will hold vents for both and female players in fifteen disciplines including Track & Field, Tennis, Badminton, Cycling, Swimming, Table Tennis, Soccer, Basket Ball, Hand ball, Hockey, Squash, Tug of war, Taekwondo, Karate and Rowing (by machine). Hundreds of children between ages 12 to 18 years will be in serious sports action besides to take part in Games ceremonies. Winners will be awarded cash prizes and certificates of distinction.–PR
