QUETTA - Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri yesterday said lawmen nailed the mastermind and facilitators of attacks on Sandeman Civil Hospital and Police Training Centre.

Reportedly, three attackers killed 62 cadets in Police Training College on October 24 while the Civil Hospital suicide strike claimed the lives of 54 lawyers on August 8 in the provincial capital.

“It is good news that our law enforcement agencies have successfully apprehended the mastermind and facilitators of attacks on Sandeman Civil Hospital and Police Training Centre in Quetta,” the CM told a gathering at award-distribution ceremony of Kyokushin Karate.

He promised an educated and peaceful province, saying: “My goal is to make Balochistan a peaceful, educated and economically strong province.”

The CM said the situation was improving and the war on terror would be won at all costs.

“Terrorists attacked my convoy and killed my son, brother and loved ones in 2013, but they could not shatter my anti-terror resolve. I will continue my fight against terrorism until complete peace is restored,” Zehri said.

He announced constructing Sikandar Shaheed Complex on Prince Road. He also announced Rs 1 million financial assistance for Kyokushin Karate programme.

Schoolchildren presented tableau and traditional dance in the end of the ceremony that was also attended by ministers and other high-ups.
