This is apropos to a news item that Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah ordered to recruit the 6,000 doctors, who qualified only written part of the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) examination.
However, such a big chunk of candidates has been directed to give seats without any interviews is impressive step. I do appreciate his decision to improve health-care department on emergency basis. But, pondering on this, I must remind CM Sindh that the written results of Combined Competitive Examination 2013 (CCE-13) through SPSC had been announced some time ago.
Many candidates qualified written part of an examination but, many of them could not pass interviews. Most of the written exam aspirants had gone through three attempts of CSS examinations. They are experienced enough to perform the job perfectly. Such deceived candidates who could not go through interviews should be given seats like doctors. Because, many seats of CCE-13 has gone vacant. Vacant seats must be filled by giving them to qualified candidates also who could not pass interviews. I request the CM of Sindh must look into the matter seriously so that such talented, extraordinary and competent aspirants can be a part of Sindh government and help its good government policies.
