LAHORE - National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) distributed prizes to its remittance customers who used NBP services to receive their remittance payments.

The prize distribution ceremony was held in a local hotel in Rawalpindi where LCD TVs, Gold Bars, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and many other gifts were distributed to the lucky winners. This was the second of many prize distribution ceremonies which will take place in many of NBP’s regions to award its loyal customers.

During the ceremony, the Wing Head-Business of Global Home Remittance Group at NBP, thanked the customers on behalf of Group Head S H Irtiza Kazmi for receiving their remittances from NBP and emphasized the importance of sending home remittances through legal channels. He also said that with the help of PRI at State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and hard work of the banks in the country, the inward remittances to the country have risen to $20 billion. He also highlighted the steps that NBP has taken to facilitate its customers by creating relationships with banks and exchange companies across the globe so that the remittances can easily be received in Pakistan within minutes.

He said that NBP is positioning itself to be the market leader in remittance business in the upcoming year. During the event, the top three remittance paying branches of NBP in Rawalpindi and Islamabad were also awarded shields by NBP’s Regional Head Rawalpindi, who also thanked the customers and assured them of unmatched services at all NBP branches.
