OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE Expats Pakistanis in Frankfurt Germany have donated 24 spray machines to Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust (NPT) for the eradication of deadly epidemic dengue. TheNation Editor-in-Chief and Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust Chairman Majid Nizami praised the role of the donors while receiving the machines at Aiwan-e-Karkunan Tehrik-e-Pakistan here on Friday. He said that the Pakistani community living abroad always helped the country in every difficult situation. Al-huda Welfare Centre head Begum Yasmeen Serwar Khan, Begum Khalida Ashgar, Mr and Mrs Syed Tayyab Shah Bokhari and their friends have donated these spray machines to the Trust. The NPT Vice-chairman Professor Dr Rafique Ahmad, on the occasion, highlighted the efforts of the Trust for the eradication of the deadly virus. The NPT has already collected five lac rupees for the abolition of Dengue. Now these machines and money will be used for the purpose in accordance with the direction of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, stated the Trust. NPT Finance Secretary Mian Farooq Altaf, Senator Naeem Hussain Chattah, Trust Secretary Shahid Rasheed, Rafaqat Riaz and Professor Muzaffar Mirza were also present on the occasion.
