Our Staff Reporter KARACHI - PIA post-Haj operation commenced from 10th November and so far 5,350 Hajjis came back to Pakistan through 13 Haj flights, PIA spokesman said here on Friday. The first post-Haj flight PK-7682 carrying 455 Hajjis landed at Karachi. The passengers of the first Haj flight were received by PIA MD Nadeem Khan Yousufzai. The passengers were garlanded at arrival. Hajjis arriving at Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta were also received by PIA officials. The delays in arrival of flights is mainly due to late arrival of passengers and their luggage at the airport. Passengers of other airlines are also facing similar problems. PIA spokesman said that PIA had earlier advised all Hajjis to reach airport at least 8 hours prior to their flights. PIA senior officials are present at Jeddah Airport to facilitate the returning Hajjis. PIA spokesman further said that no PIA post-Haj flight is so far delayed due to any technical reason. However, efforts are being made for timely departures of Haj flights with the cooperation of Hajjis and their Maulim for reaching at airport on time.
