A policeman was killed and another injured in a bomb blast near security check posts here in Shabqadar on Saturday. According to police, unknown miscreants had planted a bomb near a check post at Saro Police Station in Dando Pul area of Tehsil Shabqadar which went off with a big bang. As a result of explosion a policeman was killed on the spot while another sustained critical injuries. The body and the injured were shifted to Shabqadar hospital where according to hospital sources condition of the injured cop was serious. The security forces took the entire area in its cordon soon after the blast and started search operation but no arrest could be made.
