PML-N rejects PPP allegations

OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE A PML-N spokesman while rejecting the allegation of PPP leader Chaudhary Manzoor Ahmad that the IT consultant to BISE Dr. Majid Naeem is nephew of PML-N Senator Ishaq Dar claimed it aimed to malign the character of PML-N senior leader who is regarded as an honest and competence person among his colleagues. In a press statement issued on Friday, the spokesman further maintained that such information carried in some of the newspapers a few weeks back in lieu of the intermediate results were refuted and detailed clarification was given directly by the Senator Ishaq Dar who then categorically denied that he had no association or relation with the said IT consultant. Hence, no justification could be provided to clinch Senator Dar into the matter where he was totally irrelevant and doing so on part the PPP leader Chaudhary Manzoor was highly condemnable and showed great deal of the sense of irresponsibility. The spokesman said that if Chaudhary Manzoor had any proof supporting his claim, he should provide it to the media and to the people of Pakistan, Otherwise, he should apologize for his misleading remarks. Meanwhile, PML-N chief, Nawaz Sharif will meet party office bearers and workers belonging to Faisalabad division today (Saturday). According to the political secretary of PML-N head, Dr Asif Kirmani, Nawaz Sharif will hold the meeting at partys main office situated in Model Town. PML-N office bearers and workers from Faisalabad division will brief the party chief about the current position of their district, besides discussing the issues relating to party organization and problems of the workers.
