OKARA - Minister for Kashmir Affairs Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo has said that the PPP will thwart conspiracies being hatched against Pakistan and democracy. The activists and workers of the PPP and the people will fight to the last for survival of the country, he said during an Eid Milan Party in Wasaweywala. He urged the PML-N leadership not to use indecent language against the elected president. Mian Brothers should wait for the forthcoming elections. Rallies and sit-ins cannot abolish the national government, he added. Wattoo said that the PPP was a peoples party and believed in public service. He stressed that the Senate elections would be held in March next year in any situation. He said that those were fond of long march, sit-ins and road marches would face defeat. He added that the PPP government was taking steps on emergency bases for elimination of power loadshedding, unemployment and for reducing dearness. MNA Mian Khuram Jehangir Khan Wattoo and PPP district leader Mian Aamir Hayat Wattoo also addressed the ceremony.
